Faith is Powerful! Just a little is Enough!

HAPPY EASTER weekend!  I pray you all have a safe and joyful time celebrating our risen Saviour!

There are many who are skeptical about the miracle of the tomb and unless you have a personal relationship with Jesus it is understandable.  Those who have never allowed themselves the opportunity to open their hearts to something far beyond their comprehension and understanding would not be able to fathom the awesomeness of our Saviour and what He did for us. He says if we have but the faith of a mustard seed we could move mountains. WOW! Did you get that?  Sometimes our unbelief is so great we leave no room for the smallest grain of faith. Jesus is saying if you have just a bit of faith you have the beginnings of something great. A mustard seed is so tiny yet it grows to become one of the largest bushes and such is our faith. The more we put it into action the more it grows. When that tomb rolled away and Jesus came forth with the scars of all our sins showing it was a reminder of his unconditional love for us. When He died and was buried and rose again he was dying to cover all of mans sins. He wants us to ask Him to forgive us and wants to wash us white as snow never to remember our sins again. When he arose that signifies our walking with Christ in newness of life. Because He arose we can live also.

Easter is here. Perhaps while doing your Easter egg hunts, you notice everyone dressed up in their Sunday best, you see little baskets of green grass with jelly beans in them and chocolate bunnies or you notice the beautiful Spring flowers in bloom you stop and bask in the miracle of Jesus and what He actually did for us and how amazing God's grace is. We can keep faith alive all year not just at Easter time. He intended for us to walk triumphantly through life through the Holy Spirit and by faith. With faith only as big as a grain of mustard seed we can accomplish great and  mighty things.

Get Up! Get Ready! Get Moving!

Happy Wednesday to all of you! I pray you have a safe and happy Easter weekend coming and your plans for this blessed occasion are filled with remembering our risen Saviour!

Many of us spend time thinking about making changes in our lives. Sometimes the changes are a must to keep up with technology and the ever changing rules and regulations all around our businesses these days. At other times the changes need to come personally from within and while we know this we do nothing.  If we are going about our day to day lives stagnant living in fear of tomorrow or just waiting around to see what is going to happen chances are our lives will come to a stand still with absolutely no productivity. We become chained to our insecurities, self doubts, fears, anger, shyness, lack of skills, laziness or any number of other things that keep us from moving ahead in our lives. As long as we allow these things to creep in we will never move forward and never be as productive as we might have been had we developed the will to succeed.

Every single day of our lives we have a CHOICE. We can choose to get up, get ready and get moving. Those who do nothing have nothing. Those who get moving and never give up eventually will succeed. We cannot allow those negative influences around us to keep us from our goals and our futures.

Truthfully there are few who will be an encouragement to you. Most will be jealous, undermine, ridicule and demean your efforts. Get used to it. This is LIFE. Every single time I am lied to, discouraged, manipulated, treated like garbage because things did not go right for someone who just lashed out at me because they were having a bad day or just basically treated unfairly I usually cry alot. It hurts. By nature I always give people the benefit of the doubt and am so hopeful they will treat me with respect as I always want to treat others. Not everyone will and it is very sad for me as until we learn to treat all equally with kindness, love and respect our world will not be a very nice place and we will constantly have to fight the evils around us determining to do what we can to make a difference.

If you are discouraged today not knowing which way to turn or need to make changes in your life maybe it would help us to pray for each other and be a source of encouragement to one another.  We are living in difficult times but I believe there are those who truly do want to be successful and just need to be reminded not to give up and to keep it moving regardless of all the negativity around them. We just need to be reminded to keep it moving and never give in to those who would see us fail.

Your meaning of success may not be what my meaning is but truthfully if you are fulfilling God's calling for your life we should be supportive of one another regardless. My prayer is that each of you find your meaning of success and fulfill it!

God bless each of you!

Living With Uncertainty

Good Morning on this bright Wednesday! The sun is shining and there is much to do!

Many of us have been facing many challenges and are having to make serious decisions about many things. It might be that you need to switch to a different profession, become more financially resposible, break ties with someone who constantly abuses you, weed out the negativity in your life, declutter your thought process so that you can grow, work on getting your health back after spending years neglecting your body or take a few classes to keep up with the multitude of changes that have transpired making us more prepared for the future and much much more.

Truly we all know the uncertainty that has faced the whole country which has caused much distress and fear and if we let it we can quickly become stagnated unable to move forward.  If we allow ourselves to watch the news and surround ourselves with negative family and friends who constantly live in fear this will rub off on us and we will find ourselves doing the very same thing. Life has and will always be filled with uncertainties. We have no promise of tomorrow but we are not to live in fear or with a cloud of worry over us. We are to trust God with all our worries as He already knows every need and what is going to happen long before it ever does. To have true peace facing the uncertainties of life we must have childlike faith. That is very difficult for those who will not allow themselves to believe in something far greater than we can fathom or understand.

God is greater than anything we can throw at Him and He is not afraid to tackle all our fears, frustrations, questions, sadness, despair, grief and anger. The uncertainties of life are safe in His hands. He says to cast all our cares upon Him and He says he will give us rest!

Have a wonderful day!

Last Minute Tax Tips

TGIF! I hope you and your family have a wonderful weekend! Plan something fun to do and take advantage of the great weather and spending time with those you love!

I have to admit I cringe at the mention of "tax time". I have been self employed for many years and as such I know I have a monstrous task in making sure I have everything ready to go when Uncle Sam calls. I have learned however that careful planning and doing my due diligence on a monthly basis rather that scrambling around in a panic just before taxes are due is the smartest thing. Waiting until the last minute only makes for the possibility of serious mistakes but also lessens my chances of taking the most deductions possible. Find a link below with extra last minute tips to help you remember those things that may help you maximize your return.

Have a great weekend everyone!
